When the URL is your name put between “http://” and “.com”, blogging anonymously isn’t an option. So why do I call this “Blogging Anonymously”?
I work for my church as director of communications. Our congregation expresses it’s faith both in worshiping God and helping others. We have a Stephen Ministry program that provides people who will “walk beside” someone going through a rough time, we support missionaries who work in a Texas city that borders Mexico, and we even have homeless people stay at our church while they’re getting back on their feet and into a new home.
I don’t want to cause problems for the church because I “mouthed off” about something. But I also need a place to speak, even if blogs are becoming passé.
So this blog is a sort of “balancing act.” Let’s see how it goes.
